1. About the Campaign

HANKOOK PROVIDES ADDITIONAL WARRANTY COVERAGE FOR ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE TO ITS TIRES

Hankook provides 365 days of additional damage guarantee coverage, starting from the invoice date, for eligible new Hankook-branded regional and long-haul truck tires.

The HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE covers accidental damage that renders the tire unusable, provided that the damage meets the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions.

The campaign applies to eligible products purchased between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2026.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To benefit from the HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE, all of the following conditions must be met:

The participant must be an end user or fleet customer who purchases eligible Hankook truck tires from an authorized Hankook truck tire dealer for use in transportation activities in Hungary.
Eligible products must be purchased between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2026.
The invoice for the purchased products must be registered within 15 days of the invoice date and before any damage occurs, by completing the relevant invoice registration form and uploading the invoice to the system.
The invoice registration must be approved by Hankook.

3. Eligible Products

The HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE applies to the following new regional and long-haul truck tires distributed through Hankook Tire Budapest Kft.:

19.5” size:
TH31, TL20/TL50 (only in sizes 435/50R19.5 and 445/45R19.5)

22.5” size:
AH51, DH51, TH31, AL50, DL50, AL51, DL51, TL20/TL50

The guarantee applies exclusively to new Hankook truck tires. Regrooved or retreaded tires are not eligible for the HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE.

4. Invoice Registration Process

The application process consists of the following steps:

Purchase of the Product

Eligible Hankook truck tires must be purchased from an authorized Hankook truck tire dealer between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2026.

Registration of the Invoice

Within 15 days of the purchase date and before any damage occurs, the invoice registration form available at www.hankook365.com must be completed in full and the relevant purchase invoice must be uploaded to the system.

The date stated on the invoice shall be used to calculate the 15-day registration period.

Review of the Invoice Registration

The invoice uploaded to the system and the information provided in the invoice registration form will be reviewed and assessed by the campaign operations team within 4 business days.

The participant will be informed of the outcome by email.

Invoice registration may be rejected, including but not limited to, in the following circumstances:

The uploaded invoice is not legible.
The invoice date falls outside the campaign period.
The invoice does not include products eligible for the campaign.
The products were not purchased from an authorized Hankook truck tire dealer.
The information provided in the invoice registration form is incomplete or incorrect.

Activation of the HANKOOK365 Damage Guarantee

The HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE becomes active once the invoice uploaded to the system and the related registration information have been approved by Hankook.

A damage claim may only be submitted for products whose invoice registration has been approved.

Submission of a Damage Claim

In the event of damage that may qualify for coverage under the guarantee, a claim must be submitted within 15 days of the date of the incident via the online damage claim form available on the HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEEwebsite.

Claims based on invalid invoices, claims that do not meet the applicable requirements, or claims containing incomplete information and/or documentation may be rejected.

5. Purpose and Scope of the HANKOOK365 Damage Guarantee

The purpose of the HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE is to mitigate, in accordance with the rates and conditions set out herein, the financial loss resulting from accidental external damage, such as punctures and cuts, that renders the tire unusable.

To qualify for compensation, the damaged tire must be determined to be beyond repair following assessment.

6. Exclusions from Guarantee Coverage

The HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE does not cover:

Mounting, dismounting or balancing costs for either the damaged tire or the replacement tire,
Damage caused by contact with hydrocarbons,
Damage resulting from incorrect installation, improper use or aggressive use,
Complaints relating to rolling noise, vibration, irregular wear or driving characteristics,
Theft or attempted theft,
Direct or indirect financial losses or other damages suffered by the beneficiary as a result of or in connection with the tire damage,
Costs relating to purchases or replacements carried out without the prior approval of Hankook or a company acting on behalf of Hankook,
Tires showing abnormal wear at the time of the incident as a result of use contrary to load capacity, speed index or other applicable operating requirements,
Tires with a remaining tread depth below the statutory minimum of 1.6 mm,
Any damage to the vehicle or damage caused to third parties,
Tire damage caused by natural disasters,
Tires involved in a road traffic accident,
Vandalism or intentional damage,
Tire damage that can be repaired.

7. Damage Claim and Assessment Process

The HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE provided by Hankook is valid for 365 days from the invoice date, provided that the purchase invoice has been registered in the system within 15 days of the invoice date and before any damage occurs, and the registration has been approved.

The purchase must be evidenced by a valid invoice registered in the system.

When submitting a damage claim, all information and documentation requested in the claim form must be provided in full, including:

Invoice number and purchase details,
Product code of the damaged tire,
Tire size,
Tire serial number,
Photographs of the damaged tire as specified in the claim form.

Provided that the incident meets the requirements set out in Sections 2 and 6, the damage claim will be reviewed within 7 business days, and the beneficiary will be notified of the outcome by email.

Where necessary, Hankook may request additional information or documentation or require an on-site inspection of the damaged tire. The beneficiary will be informed accordingly.

The assessment of claims containing incomplete, incorrect or unverifiable information or documentation may be suspended, or such claims may be rejected.

8. Compensation Rates

If, following inspection, the damaged tire is determined to be beyond repair and the damage is confirmed as eligible under the HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE, the compensation amount will be calculated based on the net tire purchase price excluding VAT stated on the invoice.

Mounting, dismounting, balancing and other service costs are excluded from the compensation calculation.

The applicable compensation rate is determined according to the period between the invoice date and the date on which the damage occurred:

9. Payment Process

Where a damage claim is approved and the beneficiary is determined to be eligible for compensation, payment will be made within 8–10 weeks following approval of the claim.

The compensation amount payable will be calculated in accordance with Section 8 and the compensation rate applicable on the date of the damage.

10. General Provisions

The HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE shall expire or shall not become effective in the following circumstances:

Upon expiry of the 365-day guarantee period calculated from the invoice date,
If the purchase invoice has not been registered in the system within 15 days of the invoice date and before any damage occurs,
If the invoice registration has not been approved by Hankook,
If the tire is lost or is completely destroyed to such an extent that an assessment is no longer possible.

Hankook reserves the right to amend the campaign Terms and Conditions to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Participation in the campaign and registration of an invoice under the HANKOOK365 DAMAGE GUARANTEE constitute confirmation that the participant has read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

Any processing of personal data in connection with the campaign will be carried out in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and the relevant privacy/data protection notices provided in connection with the campaign.
